Smart farming with data

From tradition to now

Staking cultivation forward

We have transitioned from traditional cultivation to vertical farming: strawberries grow in troughs with substrate, in a greenhouse where we maintain a stable climate. This creates tranquility and consistency, as if you keep the plant proactively healthy with the right care at the right time. With less water, nutrients, and manual labor, we achieve a reliable yield and consistent quality. Together we grow.

Smart greenhouse control

In the greenhouse, we continuously measure what the plants need. Sensors and moisture meters monitor the substrate, temperature, light, and CO₂. All that data comes together in dashboards, allowing us to quickly see where adjustments are necessary. Watering and nutrition are automatically adjusted, down to the drop level. We receive alerts for deviations and work with fixed cultivation settings per department. This prevents stress and diseases, just like with people: it’s better to intervene early than late. The result is consistent growth, flavor, and quality, week after week.

Faster packaging

After the harvest, the pace continues to be tight. In our (partially) automated packaging hall, strawberries are immediately cooled, sorted, and packaged. This shortens the time between picking and shelf and helps with flavor and shelf life. At the same time, we work smart against waste: we capture excess water and reuse it, and we also recycle the substrate. Additionally, varieties are developed faster through DNA data, which is why we test and swap more consciously: approximately every 4 to 5 years, we select a variety that better fits quality and production.
